Personal care and support services including, but not limited to:
Personal care, comfort and safety are vital to maintaining quality of life. We offer support to people with their personal care, in order that they can maintain high standards of personal hygiene:
- Support getting up, washed and dressed
- Support getting ready for bed
- Having a bath or shower
- Support with incontinence care
- Assistance with eating/drinking
- Providing medication prompts
- Support with grooming
Practical care and support services including, but not limited to:
- Supporting people to stay safe
- Shopping Services
- Light housework
- Laundry and Ironing Services
- Support with making beds and linen change
- Assisting with meal and drink preparation
- Taking out the rubbish
Companionship services including, but not limited to:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Assisting with hobbies and crafts
- Support with leisure activities
- Reminiscence therapy
- Assisting when visiting neighbours or friends
- Support when reading
- Support with travel arrangements
- Support with making appointments
Specialist services including, but not limited to:
- Specialist Dementia/Alzheimer’s Services
- Palliative/End of Life Care
- Supporting people to go to college or gain new qualifications
- Helping people to gain support from their local community
- Helping people to keep in touch with family or friends
Children's Services
We provide a support service to families with children who have disabilities; we offer assistance with all their care needs which may include:
- Nights sits
- Respite
- Feeding
- Dressing
- Washing
- Personal Care
- Day trips
- Play and talking
Additional services including, but not limited to:
- Access to the wide community
- Carer Respite Services
- Out of hours service
- Nights sits
- Social excursions or assistance to get to and from appointments.
- Sitting service for people who may be looking after a family member at home and they require some respite.
